The blahness of the day continues.  Do you ever have days where you’re just restless and antsy but yet you can’t even busy yourself with menial tasks?  But my headache finally went away, yay!  I actually ended up having a catnap on the couch… that makes TWO NAPS FOR TODAY!  Dizaaaamn.  My dinner was pretty good though!  At about 7:30 I was kind of hungry as I hadn’t eaten since 1:30.  But I didn’t really have an appetite for anything.  But I ate anyway.  :)   Because I’m ALWAYS eating and hardly pass up a chance to put food in my mouth.  There wasn’t really anything exciting in the kitchen.  After a customary opening, reopening, and reopening once again of the fridge and cupboards, I finally decided on nachos.  I didn’t really want it… what I really wanted was some Red Robin or something fun like that!  But nachos it was.  Except we didn’t have beans… or meat.  So it was more of a “junky” nacho, as Isabelle would call it.

That’s a close-up of the huge dish that came out of the oven.  My serving included about 1/2 a cup of cottage cheese and a dollop of FF sour cream.  Oh, and a liberal sprinkling of chili powder.  That made it.  And that’s a salad plate, not a huge dinner plate!

I was worried that it wasn’t enough protein, so I thawed some edamame to have alongside it.

And then dessert!  Sugar free vanilla ice cream with 1/2 a diced banana and SOME OF MY LEFTOVER S’MORES TRAIL MIX!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear there’s ice cream down there and it’s not just a cup full of candy trail mix!

Brian and I had a discussion yesterday on bananas.  He stated that they’ve recently become his favorite fruit and I agree due to the sheer versatility of the banana.  There’s almost NOTHING you can’t do with a banana!  You can put it in oatmeal, a sandwich, ice cream, yogurt, fried, mashed, in a bread, it’s great plain or with peanut butter… the numbers of possibilities far surpass those of other fruits!  I like my bananas overly ripe.  When the peel is super speckled and it looks like the fruit is about to rot in a day or two… it’s PERF! :)

A couple hours after dessert I wandered back into the kitchen because my brain (not my body, unfortunately) was asking for more snacks.  I snacked on two figs but it didn’t hit the spot so I gave up.

…and ate what was left of the s’mores trail mix… which was only like 1 tbsp.!!!!!  I’m going to try to watch Definately, Maybe tonight.  Or Into the Wild.  I tried watching BOTH of these movies last week and, you guessed it, fell asleep both times.  I’m hoping that since I had TWO naps today, though, I might be able to make it through!
